This pretty lady is the Mama to Diamond, Slugger and Dodger!  Babe is a fiercely loyal little gal.  Once you gain her trust, you are her person.  She came to Amazing Strays as a pregnant street dog from Mexicali.  As you can imagine, her life has not been easy and the people she has come in contact with have not given her the love and support a dog needs to properly adjust to being a member of a family.  She is very loving, she smiles, and just wants to lay next to you and nuzzle her head on you, but you have to be patient to get there.  She is leash trained and mostly potty trained, but as with all rescue pups she will need some structure and training to get her to be the best she can be.  She loves playing with her cat foster brother and children of all ages, but again it will take time for her to warm up.  Babe would do best in a home with another cat or dog to keep her company and build her confidence.  She wasn't treated well by humans so dogs make her feel better.  She would do best in a home with a yard and an adopter that wants a constant companion.  Once she bonds she doesn't want you out of her sight!  We are working on some separation anxiety solutions and her breed is a bit barky and she will tell you all about her day!  Do you think you are able to be that patient and loving family that Babe has always deserved?  Again, she will need patience and a clear understanding that this innocent soul has been treated less than for her entire life prior to rescue, so we are asking for an adopter that would be open to committing to her for her happiness journey.
