Robbie is a gentle soul with a huge heart ready for love! He stays close to his people and loves to be pet, have his head massaged, and have gentle belly rubs. He can be persistent if you stop petting him before he's ready. He is a very mellow dog who loves to nap, lounge and gaze out the window near his people, but has his moments of excitement and energy. He likes to play with toys that he can destroy, so don't be fooled by his gentle demeanor with people, he loves a good, hearty rope to chew on! He is very quiet with the occasional whine to let you know when he needs to go outside. He's knows how to sit, and is very good on a leash. He is easily distracted by new smells, but knows when it's time to move along. He loves his walks and doesn't always lounge around the house, however if you're relaxing and watching TV, he will be right there with you. He's good with people, and can be a little timid initially - hotdogs and cheese will win him over, despite not being very food motivated. This well-mannered pup won't beg for food and will follow the rules, and would be a delighted to be a part of your family!
