This sweet boy is Sam. He is around 3 years old and has had a hard life so far. ASR rescued him from a very sad situation. Both of his owners have dementia and they were not able to care for him. Sam was eating scraps from the ground and having to find his own water as there wasn't any provided for him. After rescuing him, we learned that his owners had abused animals before having dementia so we only know a little of what this sweet boy experienced. Sam is still getting used to affection. He loves to be pet but will wait for you to approach him. He's also found a new love of being brushed!! This little guy would do best in a home with no other animals and with older children! His adoption fee is $150 which includes vaccinations, microchip, neuter and FIV/FeLV testing.
