Tessa is such sweet girl with a gentle spirit. She is around 2 years old. We rescued her with her puppies out of Mexico and brought them to San Diego for a better chance at life.  All of her puppies have been adopted and now it is Tessa's turn to find her forever family.  I would call her a petite golden mix.  She is a little on the timid side and might take a little bit longer to trust or understand she is in a safe situation.  She is currently in a board and train where she is working on her socialization and reactions to new situations.  She gets along great with other dogs, is good on a leash and is overall a happy girl.  She even likes the company of cats!  We feel she would be best in a home with older dog savvy kids.  Or a loving couple?  Or maybe that motivated single that needs a partner for adventures?  Would you like to meet Tessa?

If so, please submit an application via our website:

Her adoption fee is $350 and covers all initial standard yearly vaccines including rabies, her microchip, her spay and her first dose of flea and tick prevention.
