Apple is a fun-loving girl who is looking to be your best friend. She is around 4 years old. While in the house, Apple enjoys bringing her toys to the same room you're in - and when you look up, you'll notice she is waiting for an invitation to join whatever you're up to. She enjoys laying in the sun, and once recharged, her tail wag and pup-like enthusiasm will let you know when it's time to play! She looks forward to wearing her collar and leash, but hasn't cared to venture past the front yard during her time in foster. She has instead preferred to sit stoically while watching guard and hoping a neighbor will stop by for pets! We believe she will enjoy walks after a little time - she certainly has the energy for it. Ocean sleeps great in her crate at night and does well during daytime naps/breaks in her crate as well. She has joined the medium-sized dogs in her foster home well and likes to burn off energy playing with them outside; she likes having another dog/pack to play with, but would also be happy in a home with all eyes on her. Apple came to us every under weight and after many diagnostics-we discovered Apple has EPI where her pancreas leaks cause nutrition to be harder to absorb. The good news-all she needs is a daily powder mixed in her food and she's good to go! Apple has loved spending lots of time with young kids, adults, and everyone in between - she adorably crawls on her belly to greet strangers who come to see her in the front yard (though that quickly changes to kisses, so warn your friends!).
