Meet Fred! Fred is an 9 year old pug that is around 20 pounds. He is completely blind but that doesn't stop him from enjoying life and wanting to get out to smell the roses. He is extremely friendly and loves everyone he meets!

When meeting new dogs Fred can be a bit forward and rambunctious. He comes off strong, but he means well. It takes additional time for Fred to become completely confident and comfortable with other furry friends.

Fred's foster considers him 90% potty trained. He has no accidents when he is in his playpen and is crate trained also. Fred does best with a routine and consistency is key. He can sleep all night in his crate without a peep, although he prefers to be in bed snuggling with his people!

Despite being older, Fred loves to play and go for walks. His blindness does not affect his walks, he is confident and makes a wonderful walking partner! He is also passionate about his toys and a good game of tug of war. He also loves outside time. Fred spends his time walking outside and enjoying the smells around him. He is independent while outside and would do well with a fully fenced yard where he can be supervised.

Overall, Fred would make a loyal companion to just about anyone. He could be your walking partner or your couch potato. As long as he is with you, he is happy! This boy is at his prime and has many years left to be a great cherished family pet. If you are interested in meeting and possibly giving this fun, happy boy a forever home, please fill out at interest form at-
