Meet Peanut, a cherished member of the Nut Crew. She and her siblings were rescued from a high-kill shelter in Downey, California, where their fearful mother faced euthanasia. The shelter was unaware of her pregnancy until she arrived and gave birth shortly after. ASR swiftly intervened to relocate this vulnerable family from the stressful shelter environment, saving their mother from being put down. Peanut is a joyful, sociable, and inquisitive puppy who loves to engage in play with her siblings and seeks affection from her foster family. Rapidly growing, she is expected to reach a medium size of 40-50 lbs when fully grown.
