Meet Walnut, a cherished member of the Nut Crew. He and his siblings were rescued from a high-kill shelter in Downey, California, where their fearful mother faced euthanasia. The shelter was unaware of her pregnancy until she arrived and gave birth shortly after. ASR swiftly intervened to relocate this vulnerable family from the stressful shelter environment, saving their mother from being put down. Wally is the second biggest from the nut crew. He is the most vocal of them all. He likes to be the one to instigate play time. He loves his down time to cuddle as well. Rapidly growing, she is expected to reach a medium size of 40-50 lbs when fully grown.
